Sanofi Pasteur invites you to participate in an educational webcast on influenza’s impact on our youth which was originally scheduled to have taken place as a dinner program during the 49th National Immunization Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
This webcast, with live Q & A, will be offered throughout August during National Immunization Awareness Month.
The program, Influenza’s Impact on Our Youth – Overcoming Barriers to Reduce the Burden of Disease: Solutions for Awardees and Providers, includes expert speakers:
- Dr. Audrey M. Stevenson, PhD, MPH, MSN, FNP-BC, Division Director of Family Health Services, Salt Lake County Health Department, Salt Lake City, Utah

- A vaccine champion – Dr. Stevenson has worked in public health for the past 30 years and currently manages 6 public health centers serving over 1 million individuals. Dr. Stevenson is a visionary leader in vaccination program implementation and was awarded the national 2016 MCH Effective Practice award for her work in state and national vaccination efforts.
- Dr. Todd H. Wolynn MD, MMM, IBCLC, President and CEO Kids Plus Pediatrics and Co-founder Shots Heard Round the World, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Dr. Wolynn is board-certified pediatrician and has served as a clinical investigator in over 40 pediatric clinical studies. Dr. Wolynn is also recognized as a “social media maverick” for creating innovative platforms to improve communication with parents and to address online anti-vaccine groups.
The speakers will share effective strategies and implementation techniques that can positively impact influenza immunization rates. Participants will also learn about new and engaging tools to improve communication and reduce vaccine hesitancy. These solutions will help professionals set new immunization goals and confidently communicate the benefits of annual influenza vaccination for children and adolescents.
