The AAP has issued a new policy statement in agreement with the CDC and ACIP recommending vaccination for eligible children ages 12 and up with the federally authorized COVID-19 vaccine. The statement supports co-administration of COVID-19 vaccine with routine immunizations in order to catch children up on any missed vaccines caused by the pandemic.
